Steven, I can't say that we, in the U.S., really are living under a democracy anymore. I am not sure we ever were but, we still have the best system going. The mission now, is to see that we do not lose what we have. It appears to me, that we are in danger of that happening. FI, executive orders were not intended to be used as a replacement for legitimate legislation as so flagrantly practiced by Bubba. That is only one item on his list of un-democratic, un-presidential actions.

TV has messed with the voters' minds ever since the Nixon/Kennedy debates. Maybe some before but, not to such an extent. Can you imagine if Abe Lincoln had to depend on his TV image to get elected?? Here is a country boy, too tall, too skinny, a creased, and weathered face, a jutting chin with a mole on it, no less, and a very squeaky voice. What chance would he have had?? ~H~
