i take it as another anecdotal piece of evidence regarding the still prevailing complacency...i don't know the man however.

the bears HAVE become more vocal, and many stocks look technically oversold...normally that means a ST bottom is nearing. but who really knows? there's a lot of leverage in this market. and i hear on CNBC of hedge funds that are now 'feeling pain'. i don't know if that's evidence of a bottom. it certainly indicates that they have neither sold, nor are they short.

i wouldn't be surprised however if the mysterious futures buyers of Tuesday last week were putting in an appearance again at some point...
