Yes. I agree. I think I learnt something here. High-end consumer market peaked out for AMD faster than expected.

Steve, you are right to an extent but to be brutally honest, the economic impact of such a move is not significant compared to the Athlon earning power. The big impact is not on profits but on the balance sheet. AMD needs to pay down this debt fast. These good times don't go on forever and the profits can drop as fast as they are going up (and the momentum crowd with it).
