Kurt: A reverse Halloween effect? Well, I suppose the proper way to research it would be to look at presidential cycles. I would search SI for "presidential cycles."

FWIW, the last time we had a Naz correction of about 25% or more in the spring was 1980. We have had only eight such Naz corrections of over 20% since 1971 with a median of a 30% loss.
