Thanks for your reply Richard...

I am an investor, not a trader. Having said that I've seen my 200% gain erode to a 50% gain with recent market events...stocks that are good on "funnymentals" as you call them are getting indiscriminately hammered. I want to be able to identify trends and sell out a lot quicker. Perhaps the MAs will be all I need.

Question: What is a CCI? I haven't seen it on any of the charting software/websites. Thanks again.

Would you tell us how you would use 3 different MA's (say,MA13, MA50, MA200) in 3 different time frames, say Daily, 45 minutes, 13minutes)?
