I respectfully disagree,

"Negative sentiment is way too high. Perhaps not in the IBD numbers, etc, but in the threads, the CNBC interviews, et al. Seems too easy to be pessimistic these days (and I use "these days" loosely)."

What I am running into around the thread is the minority, those who have been trading longer, are more involved, and I hesitate to say-a bit more sophisticated in their trading, are the ones calling for more downside. These are the ones you hear speaking their mind.

There are a huge number of "others" still holding their breath. There is a low murmur of concern coming from them. They are still asking, "is this it, are we there yet?"

They could no more determine a trend, or support, than they could fill their own cavities. If this trend does continue, say for another 200-400 points, they are all going to flush their toilets simultaneously.
