Ahhh.. but my first rule of trading is : NO OPTIONS.

I don't feel too comfortable buying short term options either. That's why I rather sell them than buy them. If you happen to hold a stock that is a dog, you can enhance your return with covered calls greatly.

But in case of AMD, we have an explosive situation. Whatever call you bought in last 2-3 months made probably made money for you.

But all this open interest of calls is probably going to keep AMD depressed until the next Friday.
