Steve, <There is no motherboard problem. However it DOES take a while to get production volumes up on the new socket form factor. Testing, etc. Additionally, AMD wants to transition more slowly to ppga so that motherboards makers don't get burned with an overhang of slot a supply.> If it not a motherboard problem then it is a planning problem. It is insane for a company to not to take advantage of the dramatic cost savings that would happen by going from slot to socket. IMHO, as good as AMD's execution has been of late, the platform side has been less than optimal. Chuck
