Thread,

I would like to share my perspective from last nite and move on.

There were two reasons this thread was bugging me last nite:

1. I felt that making incessantly positive calls without any serious discussion of the downside is dangerous. I thought this was diluting this thread seriously and creating a sense of momentum that typically burns small-fish.
I am not against bullish or short-term calls - I just think that very few folks can be bullish on a stock and still be divorced enough from the stock to make good short-term calls (one really sharp guy I have seen on this is Zeev on RMBS thread).
I think it would be super to have meaningful discussions from the folks that understand the institutional dynamic and point to what situations give the little guy an edge and help each other make some money.

2. This chain of rah-rah messages void of any real content are making it extremely difficult for me to follow the thread. So, I am for cutting the rah-rah and having a dialogue that helps all of us be more successful investors in the long term and successful traders in the short term.

My 2 cents.

Chuck

P.S.: This is my last post on this topic. I understand this is a public forum and people can post whatever they want.
