What's the matter? Almost no posts today, which means either this is ho-hum action in the market or everybody is shell-shocked.

I'm surviving, Jorj, thanks mostly to my interests in the oil patch (where the sector bp's are pretty high), but I continue to have stops triggered, which is no fun, and I've suffered some significant losses. Earnings are coming in good but the stocks get trashed anyway, so I'm inclined to believe that there's more downside in here. I recall the debacle in the oil patch so long ago when companies reported great earnings but the market was looking beyond to the coming economic woes.

I'd be much more pessimistic if the sector bullish percents were anything other than extremely low, and I'm fervently hoping that tomorrow marks the bottom. But even CSCO looks mangled here, and may head lower.

(You may assume, correctly, that I bought nothing today.)
