Interesting, I've seen a few articles saying "Rambus(t) disappoints". But they beat the consensus by a full penny! I think the next few weeks will see a re-valuation of chip stocks. I'm also stocking up on more NSM.

It is never a bad idea to invest carefully, and to consider possible downsides.

Having said that, the factors you've described are exactly those that I think will most benefit AMD in the coming quarters: the move from the value market to the corporate market where prices are much higher for products the cost pretty much the same to produce.
