One factor that hasn't been considered re. sale of AMD shares is margin calls~ While we have all been enjoying the AMD great news,we have to remember that the great bulk of the NYSE and NAZ got BADLY wacked! I'm sure that there are many situations where investors, perhaps even small funds, will have to take gains to stay liquid/pay margin.

That's partially my thinking in advising people to take money off the table in the $90 range. I have calculated that what WAS a 20% investment for some of my 'people' has ballooned to more than 50% at the $90 price level. That's just too much to have in one stock.
