Watch what happens with the Retail number at 8:30 this A.M., I bet you if the number is considered initially bad, THE HOUSES WILL PLAY IT DOWN no matter what and keep the markets up, certainly by the close today.

So, you like rnwk at $38 - $40......would you buy at the open, or wait and see if we have an up open and then another shakeout. I currently have an order in at $39......how's that sound ?
You mentioned you liked the options on rnwk......which one's specifically.

Right now, due to margin, I am hesitant to buy and calls, as it does a doozy on my available spending, cause it's just like spending cash

I just sold the RNWK I bought in the 60s at 36.5 to cover a margin call (ouch). Should have sold it right when it broke support at 60 MSFT is threatening again and RNWKs will have to prove its muster in a substantial way.

Good luck.

I really want to learn how to use covered call strategies now. I'll be lurking...
