Gee whiz. Perhaps today is the day for cooler heads. AMD is up 13, INTC up a couple, CSCO a couple. AMD blows out the quarter. GE quarterly profits rise 20% and still beat estimates even with a late month analyst upgrade, NEWP triples rev and eps with record backlog, beats estimates over 20%, KLAC triples revenues, beats estimates ~15% with record orders and backlogs, the PPI is benign. It's hard to find any bad news out there, we just seem to have a bunch of idiots out there running the money shell game. Ooh, I feel better after ranting a little bit also Jess. m

New economy - Old economy: Wall Street Gurus who use that terminology should be ignored...IMO. Such a general means of looking at the market is bound to get any long term investor in trouble.
