Robert: <Positional?> It obtains value due to fixed, scarce supply. This was true of net stocks as they ran up -- only a small supply but in high demand for fear of missing a big play. Now there is a glut of shares available and they are no longer positional. Worse still, there is a liquidity problem -- falling demand for these stocks. So we go from high demand and scarce supply to low demand and a supply glut -- not hard too hard to understand why prices are down. But almost impossible to see how prices will go up and stay up -- at least not the way they used to, and only a few.
