`Additional IP cores will be acquired to complete our array of planned high-value network products,' Mr. Sepe added. ``They will provide such functions as advanced encryption, asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), physical layer transceivers (PHY) and processor-related technology. Combining these technologies with the IP already in hand should position JSI to produce flexible, higher-performance semiconductors for critical high-speed encrypted data transfer and ATM backbone switching applications."

This is a hot area now -- anything that speeds transfer of information is in demand. Also, the chip industry is in a good cycle right now, so JMAR seems well positioned to take advantage of current conditions.

As an aside: Last night I went to a Louis Navellier presentation. (He was just ranked No. 1 by Hulbert.) In looking through his list of BUY stocks, I found JMAR. JMAR was put on the list in February of this year. Navellier uses a stock screening program to pick out stocks with the highest risk/reward ratio among the 9000 stocks that he looks at.
