And you made your points very well, Lola. Off topic, but well said. What really amazes me about the whole Bre-X thing (and I never owned any either) is all of the mutual fund managers who almost injured themselves patting themselves on the back for making huge sums on it. Those who sold off before the fraud was proven are particularly smug -- but aren't they just as culpable?

BUT I don't think this has anything to do with IWA. IWA is onto a genuine find. How big? Don't know. Worth our attention? Obviously. Am I long? Absolutely!

It most certainly can happen again and probably will someday.

I have to agree with you Lola the danger is always present motivated by "Greed", but I think it's less likely to occur on Canadian soil but rather in third world Countries where the rules are difficult to follow due to the wide open corruption in many places !
