Mike my reference to QGLY was more along the lines of QGLY's chart behavior that I intrepret as having gone from over bought to oversold.
In bull market conditions investors and speculators alike discount potential negatives and price in potential.
In bear market conditions the reverse can happen. Of course smart buyers sit on the sidelines with their cash doing other things and time their entry to minimize downside risk.
Frankly I don't know where this market will end up (inflation, soft landing or hard).....each would have a different effect on GUMM and the market in general. GUMM has its own set of season and other issues which are working against them.
Playing speculative stocks like GUMM can be dangerous in both directions.
time will tell
