The report points to ``not much inflation outside of
energy,`` said Scott Brown, an economist at Raymond James &
Associates in St. Petersburg, Florida. While the PPI is 4.5
percent higher than it was in March 1999, the core rate has risen
only 1.2 percent during that period.

Question: do you think that the Dow being down and the Nasdaq being up (although the Nasdaq is not up much) is any kind of a signal?
