Laura, re: shorting of OTC BB stocks is acceptable if broker/dealer and client sign an Affirmative Determination Rule 3370 which provides that a third party uses its stocks and not the broker/dealer engaged by the client. I talked to one of the specialists there. nasdr.com - but can be limited if too many fail to deliver security according to Rule UPC 73. Also talked to AMEX person - can only short on uptick or flat straight-line tick. Hope this straightens this out. Good Luck! Linda
