You have support and resistance mixed up. I will define "sit on an ask". MLCO has an order from a client to work, so all market orders to buy gradually eat through this quantity. The buyers are happy because they are getting the price they expect. The seller(s) is happy because they are being removed not at lower prices. So why do you have this emotional reaction? Because you're long and price isn't rising. When the order(s) is finished maybe price will rise. Then you will be happy. I guess the true reason for watching so closely is to provoke these superficial and brief disappointments/elations as though you were visiting an amusement park. That's what kids do with drugs.
