Gorillas like Cisco always seem to be overpriced, JDN, but if your investment window is longer than your nose, you'll make out. Look at the long term chart for CSCO and tell me when it would have been a bad time to buy:

BTW, if you have your account set up for options, LEAPS are a wonderful way to leverage Cisco's predictable growth. Each wivar (Jan 2002 90 strike) I bought at 35 at the beginning of the year has split into 2 wavai's (Jan 2002 45 strike) with a current bid of 32 7/8. Even at today's depressed price, I've realized an 88% return in 3 1/2 months.

JDN, Frank and board,

I can't say I understand why CSCO is cracking a bit today under such heavy volume. This doesn't seem good. Any news I missed?
