Rule 1 to successful investing: 50% of investors (maybe more) are blind mindless sheep. They will consequently do stupid things (sell too low, buy too high). We shouldn't hate these folks, as these are the people the other investors make money off of.

Rule 2: The bigboys should ALWAYS be respected/feared. They have to ability to move a stock in whatever direction they want, with little or no news.

Rule 3: As Joe and myself were discussing last night, Options are a double edged sword. Don't expect anything big to happen around options time. I will guarantee if you check options buying lately, MOST AMD options were calls. The vast majority of the profit in these calls is in the $80 and up calls. Therefore, the stock will stay BELOW that level until they expire.
