RE: <Ep - agreed, but I doubt a sell-off based on those upgrades. I should change "doubt" to "pray there isn't".>

5Dave22 (Dave),

I think that is what Charles was referring to yesterday when he and Niceguy had their disagreement about single day predictions. We all know AMD will go up from here and Charles and Niceguy have very similar short term price targets (100$-120$) within the next three months but Niceguy insists on making predictions like he was doing last night that AMD would hit 100$ today or his revised prediction today that AMD will rally and close at or above 80$ today. It is not Niceguys bullishness or his slightly longer term accuracy (weeks or months) that Charles was addressing but rather his insistence on posting highly irrational daily predictions that are indeed innaccurate 90% of the time. In fact sometimes I think that Niceguy has a template that he fills out daily. ie "once we cross 'x' a price revaluation will occur and we will hit 'y' in short order." Just fill in the blanks. :)

Regards,

Epinephrine

PS: I am not trying to pick on Niceguy on a personal basis. I think that I agree with him, just on a longer term. the daily posts are my beef. (and Charles' too I think)

PPS: lest you object "yeah but you never make any accurate daily predictions Epinephrine"...That is exactly my point!! I don't make them because I would be wrong as many times as I was right so what would be the point? (and Niceguy is wrong much more than he is right (in daily predictions), he would be more accurate if he flipped a coin.)
