Allan, i'm certainly not a perma bear,although many people probably think i am. i only became bearish when the interest rate cycle turned and valuations seemed to be way too whacky for that. at the same time i always said i was looking for a blow-off, and the NAZ certainly delivered one of unprecedented proportions. i see no reason to turn into a LT bull here...i frequently take long positions in expectation of tradable rallies, but the only LT positions i am comfortable with are some high yielding defensive stocks and some gold stocks... that said, i have a feeling that the NAZ may give us a little rally here for a while... regards, hb
