OT-..what parameters do you set when you put in a stop loss ?

Its a personal thing, and actually difficult to explain. The stock is stopped based on;
1) its "standard daily excursions" in a normal market
2) the amount of money invested (10% tolerance may be fine if you buy 1000 shares, but totally unattractive if you buy 10,000 shares of a $10.00 stock
3) market volatility
4) R & S support and R &S support lines
5) volume
6) and the most important of all..whether or not you ate a bad hotdog the day before.....gas can alter all of the above!!!!!<ggggg.
