South African view of Iridium's downfall, G*'s prospects:

bday.co.za

Notes regulatory gridlock that damaged Iridium there has not cleared for G*Southern Africa which says it's loosing 3M rand/ month (about 460K$) while waiting for permission to start operating.

However, also notes that Telkom, which is 60% gov't owned, operates GSA Gateway, and has an interest in accelerating gov't license (which it did not have in case of Iridium)

Its very clear that G* never expected to have to assist the service providers to this level of detail. I think their plan was to build it, and turn it over to SPs to pull in the customers. So far, that ain't happening, and G* going to have to get out of the office and into the battlefield.

EXPECT SINGLE DIGIT STOCK SOON!
