No one in the war (or even a service for that matter) was ever a joke. We all had our jobs to do and everyone appreciated everyone else's contributions. Joking about it was something else. Did you hear the definition of a 'Gooney Bird Pilot?' A man with a definite interest in aviation but a basic fear of flying.

Have you noticed that the tolerance level on this board decreases in direct proportion to the market?
