Wait a sec. He believes this will force people back to the big brokerage houses? Gimme a break. That just confirms my previous post. I suppose they are half deluding themselves and half vicious.

There is one other aspect of this shakeout that will have an effect however: I just read a piece that stock options on tech companies and dot.coms are not going to look so enticing anymore. It's too volatile for employees. So they'll have to pay more cold hard cash, and that may cause some to stumble. There definitely will be a shakeout in that arena.

But you can't convince me that CDMA, or storage companies like NTAP and EMC, or GMST when its t.v. guide takes over, aren't good bets no matter what. And a lot better than General Electric, sorry.

Dutch! They will never get their grubby hands on my money if I only have 1000 left..........I will wait them out.......brings back memories of 1987...those who sold were the suckers and in no time the market was up and running.

I don't want their advice......Everyone on this board had to have made 20% last year and a heck of a lot more. If they get your money you are going to make 20%. Hopefully.

I thank the good lord I have enough to get by until they start to starve. This looks kinda like a game of chicken!!! I ain't no chicken.... OK

Thanks for the post!
