E, one major positive for a bull market in financial assets is that the government welcomes the prosperity and seems willing to foster the bubble: Fed's excessive monetary ease, PPT buying S&P futures at critical support levels, ESF war on gold, FED objecting to closer scrutiny of derivatives and slamming FASBs proposal for better disclosure of derivatives exposure on financial statements. Note the very slow response time to address significant accounting issues especially employee stock options. Government stats cooked to perfection to overstate productivity and understate inflation.
