Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree your view that the stock is being manipulated like it was after Q4'99 earnings. It surprises me that it could happen at this magnitude again right after AMD reported a stunning quarterly earnings. Certainly, the overall market did its share.

I read a book "License to Steal" a while ago. It paints a really dark image on the Wall Street firms based on author's real world first hand experience. I didn't believe most of them. But I might now.

I sold 70 Apr 65-75 options when stock at around 76. Still hold 80 Apr 75-80. I will still make money even those 80 contracts expire worthless. My AMD shares are still locked in my closet. But I have to admit AMD needs at least another good quarter to convince the main street.
