I thought stocks over $50 do splits, not $6 stocks. I guess a company has a right to split whenever they want. Many small companies would kill to get a double digit valuation just to possibly get on some analyst's/broker's radar screen. Maybe there is some reverse psychology to this approach?

Jim, I disagree. The split was announced just before a solid week of great PR's that should have taken the stock to new highs, had the broader market not tanked.

The only consolation I can offer you is, I got personally hammered this week in this stock. Also, the CEO and insiders lost more money on paper this week than anyone else in the world.
