Greg: Technically speaking, which doesn't mean diddley in this market environment, there is a gap on the NAZ charts at 3475. But more scary than that, there is another gap at 2850, the original breakout point for the NAZ. Theoretically, both gaps should be filled and a test of the breakout point is generally considered by TA to be a normal occurrence. In addition, when the DOW corrected to around 9750, it fell about 1000 points below its 200 DMA. The 2850 level on the NAZ is about 650 points below its 200 DMA. Will any of the above happen - I sure as hell do not know. But I'll tell you this. If it does, many people are going to get wiped out permanently - something which the FED and oldtimers on the Street would relish. AG saying he was not targeting the stock market via his wealth effect bullsh*t during the Senate hearings today was an absolute lie. Senator Bunning nailed him on that and AG really squirmed.

As an aside, FDRY had incredible earnings - they are doing quite well afterhours. Whether that holds up is another story. Good luck.
