"The Pill" is to de-couple individual stocks from index trading which is dictating the market direction.

We will know that the programmed trading is no longer in synchrony
when most individual stocks can trade more independently than their
corresponding indexes. This is 'the pill' or antidote we need IMO.

We saw some biotechs de-couple from their index today but then
they locked in to the trend lines and followed them into the close.

It's almost looks like the big Funds and market makers have some
sort of computerized conspiracy to move simultaneously which amplifies
the waves in the indexes and drags all the largest cap stocks around like
a flock of geese. It happens so swiftly that it's almost certainly all
computerized. Individual traders are just going with the flow and not leading it.

Consequently, there is no moderation in directions. Things went up
too high too fast, and now they are coming down too much and too fast.
We are all in a kind of glued together oscillating harmony.

Wind was once found to cause poorly built bridges to collapse due
to the harmonic resonance of the bridge vibrations with wind. I'm
wondering if the amplified wave patterns we are getting is setting us
up for something similar or perhaps less potent.
We may get the bouncing ball effect over the coming weeks
where each bounce and drop is followed by a
smaller one until things settle down.
