LOL, it is very clear indeed!

If Intel's proxy of proposed increase in the number of share is the best you can offer with regard to AMD's stock vs. INTC, I am very happy to say that I am fully invested in AMD.

Clearly Intel's management has a much more bullish outlook than AMD's! (AMD's proxy material shows no increase from 250 million shares, so a 2-1 split is not possible.)

There was some talk in the CC that AMD would increase the shares outstanding but I don't remember the number.

I might point out that some fund mgers are complaining that there is a share overhang on the NAZ from all the splits, IPO's and secondaries, and that this overhang, at least in part, is contributing to the NAZ's current problems.

Re: "Intel to split 2-1!

Don't think this has been posted yet, but I noticed yesterday that Intel's Definitive Proxy
Statement was out and they are asking shareholders to increase the number of authorized
shares outstanding from 4.5 billion to 10 billion, making room for a 2-1 stock split
anytime after their annual meeting.

Clearly Intel's management has a much more bullish outlook than AMD's! (AMD's proxy
material shows no increase from 250 million shares, so a 2-1 split is not possible.)"

Comment: It does appear to be a fairly upbeat action.
