OK, misunderstanding abounds.

First of all, it isn't clear by what means SGI will divest--they could do a secondary offering and sell it all or they could just issue it to SGI shareholders and let them sell it or hang on to it as they choose. I'm pretty sure they can't sell it off a little at a time, because those shares are not yet registered with the SEC.

I don't understand the reference to "summer". Unless somebody comes up with a link, I'll ascribe that to pure speculation. We can revisit this on September 23.

When the overhang is gone, perhaps MIPS will be back at its IPO price (in the teens, wasn't it?).
