Eugene - I am in total agreement with you. I am just as disheartened in reading posts that relish the losses of others as you are. And as I mentioned previously, I wish no one on this thread ill-will - and I have certainly never intended to do so through any of my bearish posts.

However, I would ask you to not generalize on the malicious intent of those that have a bearish point of few - there are a few of us bears that have no malice in our outlook.

Do you realize that last year when I was shorting RHAT at post-split prices of 130+ (RHAT is at 28 today) that one of the participants in the RHAT thread after addressing several extremely profane posts to my attention went so far as to attempt to break through the firewall of my company's web server (I assume in attempt to wreak havoc) - he proudly admitted this fact in a public post. I bear no hard feelings toward bulls for this incident - my feelings toward the individual involved, however, are a different story.

Currently, I'm still a bear - and I want the market to go down more. Do I want you or William or others that still have long positions to lose money? Certainly not. But my desire to see the market settle and become stable at a lower level is at odds with your desire to make money on the long side.

For the record, I'm all cash, and have no short positions. For the last two weeks, I've been shorting in the morning, covering before market close. This strategy had me a bit nervous today, as around 1:00pm ET, I was starting to think that the bottom had come and gone, and that I was going to lose big time on today's shorts.

Do you have any idea what a lack of courage it takes to pile on? I read these posts and
wonder who some of these folks think they are. It is truly sick. Hiding behind their pc, using
pseudonyms, and attacking someone when the market is going against them, then
disappearing when the tide turns against them. Really, really slimy stuff.

Gene,

You are 100% correct on that in my opinion. I have been reading this thread in disbelief regarding the behavior of many. It lets me know the fine folks from the self centered and that is something I always remember.

William has acted as a perfect gentleman bith when his stocks were going up and down. He called me a "cementhead" one when I was losing my shirt being short AMZN. It was never in a way to be directly insulting but I believe he helped me from losing more money. Spirited debate is fine but kicking a person when they are down shows lack of character.

By the way, I am down in the market too big time. It will be fine in time.
