Some prints on older printers will last < 1 yr before noticable fading fades. <<<<< The good thing about this is that since it is digital photography, you can always print out your old photos again as new technology comes out. Since it is just dgital 1's and 0's stored on ahard drive or backed up to CD-R, it will be done with with no loss in quality, even 1000 years from now.
