Hi John,

That would work out OK if it was just a few posts, but
someone built a "best posts" index to several threads, indexing hundreds of posts by the old style url. Can't there be a way to directly translate the url to get to the posts?

here's the index I'm talking about -
geocities.com

Every month or so I come back here and ask the same question. Many others have asked as well. I realize you may not like the idea and have the right to choose not to implement it, but I would really appreciate your taking the time to answer. You do so well answering so many of the other questions you've really go my curiosity up about why you have somehow not gotten around to answering this one...

Would you make it possible to scan messages N at a time rather than just 10 at a time based on a user defined preference for N? And allow N to be a very large number, well over 100, since some threads are so popular. Now that BrowseMaster no longer functions, the 10 at a time tease has become really annoying rather than the improvement it was intended to be.

TIA

John Biddle

I would like to have a link to SI mail and SI navigation on the new home page that is at the top but not in the tool bar...will that be possible with customize features that are on the way?
