bp, it now looks as if your main concern was because CFT was a woman. Would it make a difference to you if the lowlifes that dragged Mr. Byrd to death now have given their lives to Jesus and become model prisoners?? Would you want their sentences commuted for their heinous crime? Or would it have been different if Mr. Byrd was hacked to death, as Carla Faye Tucker did her victims, instead of dragged behind a pickup? Consider the families of the victims too. As I maintain, Gov. Bush was consistent, as he had to be. A 30 day stay would have only appeared as a political move at that particular time. Maybe if there are enough people to speak up, a moratorium can be declared on any executions until all possible avenues of punishment can be considered.
