>>>The mutuals had record low cash levels<<<

george, yep, from january to early march it was the new economy man, sell the old economy to buy the new economy, from early march it has been the old economy man, sell the new economy to buy the old economy, man - no cash build-up.

so i believe the whole shebang will go bang as we are running into thin liquid season and these duppa's need to build up some cash, instead of trying to follow every little trend change to beat the sNp.

we'll see over the next few days if i'm right.

I have a silly question, can mutual fund use margin?
This may make a difference on how much dry gun powder
they have left.

I think the answer is probably yes, since some funds
trade options and that requires margin.

"Mutual Funds will not allow a bloodbath"

The mutuals had record low cash levels the last time I looked. There may or may not be a bloodbath soon. But the mutuals are in no position to allow or not allow anything.
