MF - Where IS Batapaglia??????????/ I am going to ask that question till I get an answer somewhere on SI!!!! Meanwhile did you read Cramer this evening? He sounds really depressed. I mean really. Anyway 80% of stock market gains are made Oct/Apr. Apr/Oct is a slow to down time. What may have happened last October bears no relation to what is happening now. This is much worse than last Octobers correction or indeed any other correction since the twenties. Just our luck to be in the mdiddle of it. You sort of get used to corrections every so often. Takes a few years but you do get used to it. But this is no ordinary correction. Fear stalks the corrdors of CNBC. Yuo can see that there seems to be a conscious effort on their part to get some commentators to say something positive about the market and they got some today but these people looked scared to me and not very convincing.
