There are lots of "steals" out there. The current market does not care. Even GMST's buyback announcement before the market open could not stop people from selling on the rally.

People are in a capital accumulation/preservation mode.

The trend is your friend. I'm going to try and not fight it. However, once some of the bellweather stocks come down some more I may be inclined to pick some up for a long term hold. Tech stocks are not dead, these companies are our future. The have just been hyped so much that this had to happen at some point. 1000+ p/e ratios? It just was not realistic.

I think we all have some short term investments that became "long term" investments over the past few weeks. Hopefully, many on the thread at least have some cash in addition to their "long term" investments.

The loss of wealth in this country to many people over the past few weeks has been staggering. :(
