i have to admit i was yahooed by all the posts thinking something big had occurred. nice to know i was not the only one fooled into thinking there was news.

Yeah, I agree W. Sheffield... Only informed comment should tickle our fancy, not personalities...but how anyone can "assume" that IDTC will continue to "miss" earnings based on "history" given: the latest monetisation for > $1 billion which looks airtight in the 8K,direct investment by Malone AND T, equity method of accounting for NTOP vs consolidation going forward, announced and documented preferred supplier position with T and BT venture (lowest cost in industry), recently announced aggressive 5cent/min campaign for local LD signups and cross sales, income from the cash invested, aggressive expansion in Europe capacity, colocation arrangements, not touching at all upon the future "theoretical" restructuring and spinoffs.... seems to be totally UNSUPPORTED logically with any factual argument other than pessimism/emotion. Long live free speech, but also fact-based rebuttal... I HATE the fact that IDTC is now at 30, but I do not feel it is due to any recent actions attributal to the company, its deals or its management... End of rant, fB
