"Where's the dadgummed Location bar?" i use netscape communicator4.7. the location bar is where the url is displayed at the top of the browser window. if your point is that you haven't heard it called that before, let's look in two places. first click 'view', then 'show'. note that 'location toolbar' appears. is it checked? if so, the location bar will appear, with the word 'location' in front of the url window. or click 'edit', 'preferences', 'navigator'. there you'll see a 'clear location bar' button that can be used. re "Now don't get all testy but . . ." not at all. especially not with someone who genuinely wants to know something, as opposed to someone who likes discussions about semantics. :) mark
