Is Mr. Greenspan in firm control? What if he's able to start the sell off, but not able to rally the market? Suppose the foreigners sell their US stocks and take money home, what will happen to the US dollar? My guess is down. A lower US dollar means we need to pay more to buy foreign products. This is an increase of price, which may cause inflation. Then Mr. Greeenspan hikes interest rate to fight inflation. And the market drops more. ... Julius
