They split the stock in order to use the excess for acquisitions. Ludicrous or not is not the point. A lot of folks bought based on the upcoming split. That can be upsetting to some people, who have better things to do with their funds than flush them down the toilet. I can see how someone who bought in AH near 5 would be much happier than someone who has been accumulating on dips with an average of over 6. Just my thoughts, but to renege on a split AFTER the DOR is ludicrous. I will probably wait until closer to 4 to buy any more.
