I did not say I knew the answer to that, only to consider it. As I have not been put in the position of being a family member of one who had been killed, I cannot answer for them. As I said in one of my earlier posts, I believe there might be a way to make the perp. work in some labor intensive job within the confines of a maximum security prison, the rest of his/her life and any money made, be given to the family. No work? no eat. No access to any of good things of life. Just a pair of overalls and work and enough food to sustain. Sound rough? Can't do the time? Don't do the crime.
