I just got off the phone with KLP, who is out of town with no computer. She did mention that in her line of work, and that of her husband as well, they have noticed that the "old" economy companies are not really growing, but are making their profits by letting their employees (particularly middle management) go.

Message to Mike Quigley......Desperate Times call for Desperate measures so time to listen up to LEVY......this idea you had fo the run is very nice but not exactly a new concept.....so here is my idea..... you know about the nakedmile race in Ann Arbor right?...I think it is today. nakedmile.com ..well that is a bit to much for those closet seattle straight people to handle but how about speedos? yes thats right, I think you need to clandestine-ly change the go2netshorerun to the go2netspeddoshore run......if it is just a regular run well it will only get local news but if you change it to a speedoes run... well then the whole nation will hear about it. Ron Reece has already volunteered to get this movement going as he apparently enjoys showing his butt around...now we just need you to show your Berkeley roots and go along with this plan....it is time to make a statement Quigley....I know you can't publicly sanction this but behind the scenes you can get a grass roots or should I say speedoes movement going.....perhaps you might actually be a willing participant and join a team with Ron Reece.....3 others and you can get in on that speedoes free team breakfast.....this is your big chance and gnet needs you more than ever.... I might even donate temporary use of my trillioniaire badge for this momentous occasion.
