Despite its revenue warning on MSFT, I believe that Goldman Sachs is still a member in good standing of the Plunge Protection Team. The PPT is willing to act through GS to stop a panic, as it did on April 4th. Also, I speculate that GS's revenue warning on MSFT is consistent with the PPT's plan to allow the market bubble to deflate in a controlled manner.

Any comment on next FED meeting and possibility of
hiking interest rate again? In my openion, GS realizes
that it is too risky to hike another 25 base. Stock
investors have had huge losses this year and spending
will decrease accordingly.
